Introduction
Meet Umino MukMuk, a Canada-born sea otter who now lives in Japan and serves as the Head of Public Relations for MukMuk LLC.
MukMuk is a friendly and curious office otter who enjoys sharing cheerful news, discovering new technology and supporting the friends he meets. Although he spends much of his time working from the office, his greatest ambition is to travel to events throughout Japan, meet other mascots and create happy memories with everyone he encounters.
Whether he is editing photographs, enjoying a homemade treat or planning his next adventure, MukMuk approaches each day with curiosity, kindness and a little otter-style mischief.
Story
MukMuk was born near the cool waters of Canada, where he grew up surrounded by nature, fish and plenty of opportunities to float peacefully on the water.
From an early age, he was fascinated by the wider world. He loved hearing stories about distant places, learning how new technology worked and discovering the different ways people communicated and made friends.
That curiosity eventually brought him across the ocean to Japan.
MukMuk settled in Osaka and joined MukMuk LLC as its Head of Public Relations. At first, he expected to live a quiet life as an office otter, sharing news and meeting people through social media. However, as he began making friends with mascots and characters across Japan, invitations to events started arriving.
MukMuk soon realized that public relations did not have to happen only from behind a desk. He could travel, meet friends face-to-face and help connect people, companies and communities through shared experiences.
He is now preparing to venture beyond the office, visit events around Japan and bring his cheerful personality to life in the real world.
Personality
MukMuk is gentle, playful and naturally curious. He enjoys learning about almost anything, especially when it involves technology, creativity, food or one of his friends.
He is sociable and loves meeting new people, although he can occasionally be a little shy when experiencing something for the first time. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side quickly appears.
MukMuk is also caring and thoughtful. He worries about his friends during storms, celebrates their birthdays and achievements, and is always eager to see what they are working on.
Life at the office has made him slightly spoiled—especially when homemade treats are involved—but he remains hardworking and takes his responsibilities as Head of Public Relations seriously.
